Night Sky Plans

Next up in shoots is a plan to make another trip out to the Big Bend area for some night sky photography.  I've made two attempts in recent years to get my ultimate Milky Way galaxy shot, but so far it's still a work in process.  I did recently move up in camera bodies, and my current rig now has just the right stuff to capture a much better night sky.  I know the views out near Fort Davis and the McDonald Observatory are calling my name.  I may need to add one particular lens to make the next attempt perfect, so that's under consideration.  Hopefully one day soon, I'll have my perfect Milky Way shot in hand - and available here on Mundo Vista. Here's a look at last summer's shot. ( :
